Emma (Doctor Who: Curse of the Fatal Death)/Molly (Doctor Who: Big Finish Adventures), the Doctor (Doctor Who: Curse of the Fatal Death)/the Doctor (Doctor Who).

In episode four of Curse of the Fatal Death the Doctor saves the day with a series of dangerous and/or sloppy actions that cause Rowan Atkinson to regenerate successively into Richard E. Grant, Jim Broadbent, Hugh Grant, and Joanna Lumley. Naturally this last incarnation is the one left to appear in The Hero of Three Faces continuity alongside/replacing the proper continuity's eighth incarnation for a time.

Molly, one of the Doctor's eighth incarnation's companions in the audio drama spinoff line from Big Finish studios, is the last of the Big Finish companions whose names are reeled off by the Doctor in proper Doctor Who television continuity in Night of the Doctor (2013) before the Doctor regenerates. Charley who appears in the first panel of this cartoon was the first of those spinoff companions named. This cartoon suggests, with Night of the Doctor, that the companions and events from the eighth Doctor's Big Finish dramas are part of proper Doctor Who television continuity. However this cartoon consigns those adventures (with which I am almost entirely unfamiliar) to that time during the Doctor's eighth life when The Hero of Three Faces continuty is focussed rather on the Red Nose Day fiction plane's Doctor.
