Despite my best intentions I can't say I feel I've quite given Guinan equal standing to the Doctor in Three Faces. In fact I've only muddied the waters by also making spacetime travelers out of Buffy's scooby gang (who though, to be fair, were there before Guinan was) and the Rogue One squad and the Doctor's former companion Peri, who are left to battle for my focus so intensely that the latter hasn't any other appearances at this writing (October 2022). And this isn't even to consider all the 2010s Doctor Who characters who onscreen departed the TARDIS to become independent spactime travelers. The one advantage Guinan has over any of the others, even the Doctor, is she hasn't the usual constraints of the Three Faces chronology continuity; unlike them she appears in any time visiting any characters regardless of what her onscreen character was doing at the parallel airdate or whether she was even created yet. Nevertheless there are plenty of gags I draw where the character visiting other characters' plane could be any spacetime traveler who likes puns where I don't even think of putting anyone but the Doctor in it because they're my favorite. Sometimes I work against this by going back and editing the art of recent cartoons, but it won't always work because, since the Doctor's my favorite, I often write specifically to the Doctor. Perhaps that's something I can work on if I ever reboot the site and the continuity over again like I did in 2014.
